A Sustainable Economy & Environment, Community Equity, and Economic and Ethnic Diversity A.) Vote To Support the WEBAIC Compromise Proposal To:

In Place Of The Council majority proposal to Open ALL Protected Wholesale & Warehouse Space to R&D
B.) Support Master Use Permit (MUP) provisions that maintain West Berkeley’s workability & livability:
1. Maintain reasonable heights and massing standards - existing 45’ & Floor Area Ratio (FAR) of 2, not proposed 75 feet height and (FAR) of 3.
2. A robust, but reasonable 30 acre limitation on aggregation of property for Master Use Permit eligibility.
3.Maintain Mixed Use Residential Zoning Standards for MUP sites occupying MUR property

Please Support WEBAIC Compromise Proposal on Protected Wholesale Trade & Warehouse Space: Open Up A Reasonable 100,000 sq ft of Protected Wholesale Trade & Warehouse space to R&D
100,000 sq ft, plus MUP sites, existing non-protected space, and protected space now allowed to be converted to R&D provide a large, more than adequate amount of space for R&D closely matching projected demand. The proposal to open all this space would be destroy blue & green collar jobs supporting working families, a local-serving, stable economy, contributing companies, environmental sustainability, & our community’s equity as seen in our economic & ethnic diversity.
